This logo started out as a watermark that I made to annoyingly place on all my photos (still do). It is big, it is out there, and quite frankly, it is a distraction on my photos if I am being honest with myself.

The design started with trying to piece together something that combined my love for the outdoors and adventure, with my newly found passion for photography. Over the years, It has morphed into the logo that I now use for Lyman Media and I could not be more proud of what it symbolizes.

It symbolizes new beginnings, as photography came during a time where there was uncertainty all around in my life. It symbolizes adventures and the endless beautiful scenery we have in the PNW. And most importantly, it symbolizes a passion that I found in my late 30s, that has and will take me places that I could never imagined.

I have been asked about the watermark/logo a few times and thought that it would be “fitting” (get it?), to share these with everybody.
